Fun fact: I completely destroyed my shoes for a similar shot but ended up selecting this one... After running for 30 min from Muscle Beach to try and capture the sunset in time, I didn't notice that I planted my tripod a little too close to the water's edge... One wave later and my tripod and I were sinking in the sand and I had to hurry to a dryer spot. Luckily, and after 15 different tries and moving to a spot on top of a rock, I finally got what I came for: a nice pollution-diffused sunset.
